Atarios

Atarios is the homeworld of an extraterrestrial species known to humans as the Atarians, a technologically sophisticated but socially and culturally underdeveloped sentient race. Located in a binary star system approximately 27 light years from Earth, Atarios and its inhabitants have had a complex and often troubled relationship with human civilizations since first contact in the early 20th century.

Biology and Society

Atarians are a carbon-based lifeform with a humanoid appearance, standing on average 1.7 meters tall with grayish-blue skin, large black eyes, and a skeletal, insect-like physiology. Their highly efficient metabolisms and regenerative biology allow them to live over 200 years.
