Luke Skywalker is the central hero of the Star Wars saga, a young Jedi Knight whose coming-of-age and heroic actions were instrumental in overthrowing the Galactic Empire and restoring peace to the galaxy. Born on the planet Dantooine to an unknown father, Luke was raised in obscurity by his aunt and uncle on their remote farm, unaware of his true origins and extraordinary connection to the mystical energy field known as the Force.
